Subdivisions of Incoherency arguments (March 31, 2005, 12:48:57 AM) quote
I've decided to make a third subdivision of incoherency arguments :

Incoherency-internal
Incoherency-external
Incoherency-scientific

Scientific arguments are "external", but they are different enough to warrant a different subdivision. Scientific arguments set a situation where a law of nature contradicts a divine attribute, and the theist is stuck between accepting this (and ending up with a contradiction) or refusing to apply the law to his god (and ending up with noncognitivism).
